Sounds like you and the kids had a wild experience, a memory of a life time. You all handled it very well. Sorry for what you lost but its all replaceable. That 1st next wind shake I would expect it to be scary... but in time the sides will be fluttering, and their scared friends will hear them say.. "Awe this is nothing, let me tell you about the time....."
Any word on the other Pup? I would guess since it was just cops, they were doing a report for insurance purposes.

I heard that part of the family in the destroyed pup was in the bath house and a woman was still in the pup but not injured. Very relieved.

Very scary situation that you handled very well! Until it happens, you never think you could handle that sort of situation......
    Kudos!
Glad everyone is ok and the things you lost are replaceable. Hugs!

Great teachable moment at the hotel. They will remember how you handled this for the rest of their lives. Well done. :)

Well done, Mama. Sorry you had to go through that, of course, but glad you found a way to get something out of it, too.

I'm just curious...Do you not have trailer tongue jack mounted?
How do you get it hitched and unhitched?

Glad everyone is safe. Going to a hotel is exactly what I would do in that situation.

I do have a tongue jack. I had taken the wheel off and put it on some wood blocks to level it. When wind blew it off wood it landed on the pipe. Too low to rehitch. I have since put the wheel back on and put it on one of those donut chocks
