DIY - tire replacing and wheel bearing repacking - need advice

    FYI A trick I learned years ago. On races or bearings, use your freezer to chill down those races, clean up the new area wipe down and have a large socket, pipe or whatever fits those races on the OD. You could preheat the hub in the sun or otherwise if needed, quickly remove those new races from the freezer and drop in the hub. Sometimes you get lucky and they will just drop in or just need a little nudge with your small hammer and brass drift.
    Done lots and lots of electric motor bearings the same way, sometimes you need to heat the bearing (in a 150 degree oven) and freeze the motor shaft.
