Out of all the galaxies and heavens there are I don't think we are the only ones, and I have to say I'm not so sure we are the intelligent life out there, just look at how we treat each other and this planet.

I'd keep playing. I don't think the heavy stuff will come down for a while.

I just voted YES, because of my recent posts about Ghosts.

They are out there. I can't help but believe in them, cause I've met a few. Not everyone has ever met a ghost, and along those lines... I've never met an Extra Terrestrial either.

Nothing to document the non existence of either one though. So, I guess I Believe.

    in my humble opinion **lol**

other than the easily explainable ghost forum replies-which is always human error lol
im what i like to refer to myself as a believing skeptic
id rather rule out all possibilities first then decide
    but, that isnt always aplicable
as a paranormal investigator, ive been subjected to the occasional unwarranted "dude, something just slapped me" or even the old "near miss" of having objects tossed at me...if only they'd learn that dollar bills dont leave marks, lol...
do i belive in "ghosts"? most deffinately..
but i most certainly dont belive that every bump, or noise is a ghost, lol
do i believe in a god? nope
ufo's ? yup, just ask buzz aldrin, john leer, scott mitchel, richard c. hoagland.
ive even witnessed a few "sightings" in person, rarely, but it has happened, lol...
infact, a few friends of mine have recently taped 1 on 11-28-08
and put it up for veiwing at our shows website www.ghostlytalk.com
i can't garuantee the language filters...but its still interesting, and ill vouch for their honesty.
would i bet on bigfoot and loch ness? yup...
too long to explain why, but ill be glad to answer why id bet on their existance if asked lol...
but for now,...i hear theres been a rare sighting of my pillows...hopefully the trail to my bed will lead me to them, lol..

Are we actually the offspring of lizard-like alien experiments? Google "David Icke" for some interesting opinions.

Lets assume there are aliens, and they do visit us on a regular basis.....then that just leads me to ask one question that most people never seem to ask...and that is WHY would they? We go into the wilderness to explore and experience it and the critters that live in the woods. We do the same in our oceans....we even keep all kinds of creatures in zoos, and in aquariums to look at and study. Animals and fish are "dumb" creatures compared to the intelligense that humans hold (suposidly). What if we are the "zoo" or the "aquarium"????? Gets you thinking doesn't it. They are far more intelligent than us, that is why we can't see them all the time and catch them, or even communicate with us. They also don't have to be from our galaxy but can come from another dimension which scientist says exist. If you believe in ghosts then you should believe in other dimensions also. I believe that is how they are coming and going. And the reason they make themselves obvious in our skies on occasion (remember the Illinois event), is because we are just a bunch of "dumb" animals living on a small ball in space and are not a threat, but very interesting to watch and observe. Gets you thinking too, doesn't it!!!

as for the paranormal, i love history, i love casper...

Is there life somewhere other than Earth? YES. We are a minuscule planet in this immense universe. Trillions of Billions of planets outhere!

Are they intelligent? It depends on your definition of intelligence, or in fact they are advance or not compared to us humans.

I hope we are not the only ones. Out of this entire universe I would hope that we are not the only life forms. How boring!

I believe in UFO's. If you look up in the sky and you don't know what it is it would be considered an Unidentifiable Flying Object. Even though it might be just a kids balloon that someone let go. You are not sure what it is, therefore, it's a UFO!!!!

I look at it statistically. There are about a 100 billion stars in this galaxy alone and there are billions of galaxies. Even if only one star in 1,000,000 has planets and even if only one planet in a 1,000,000 has life and even if only one planet in 1,000,000 of those has intelligent life, there would still be many, many millions of intelligent civilizations in the universe. Put another (double negative) way, statistically, there can't not be intelligent life out there.

Then, considering that the universe is 13.5 billion years old and that our solar system is only about 5 billion years old, there has been plenty of time for many millions of those other civilizations to have developed far, far beyond us in technology. So far beyond us in fact, that compared to them our level of technology would be like cave dweller technology is to us.

Do they exist? Yes! Have they come here? Almost certainly yes.

I think it’s extremely naïve to think that Earth is the only planet capable of sustaining life. Especially if each star is essentially a sun which may have several planets orbiting around it. Although I have not witnessed any UFOs, I do believe that we have been visited for centuries.
If a belief in God is based solely on faith then shouldn't the same principle be used toward this topic? Isn't there much more evidence to support extraterrestrial life than a single God? Don't you agree that the unexplained evidence left by ancient cultures around the world MIGHT be explained by visitors from other planets? For instance, the Nazca lines in Peru http://www.morien-institute.org/mariareiche.html that were discovered in 1939 - only after an airplane flew over that region for the first time. Why would these ancient people create something that is only visible from the sky? How did they create these massive drawings so precisely? It is thought that these drawings were a gift to the Sun God. The Sun God is a deity that arrived in a ball of fire. Hmmmm.
Some people also believe that the Great Pyramids were also navigational aids since they are perfectly aligned with the sun and the magnetic compass. Also, nearly all of the religions mention the deity ascending into the clouds in a ball of light. Isn't it strange that people still see UFOs as a ball of light?
Stonehenge is another. Some believe it was a massive temple but others think it was some sort of landing area. No one can determine, with any level of confidence, how these enormous monoliths were transported from hundreds of miles away, arranged in a perfectly circular pattern, and most intriguing - stacked on top of each other.
These are just a few of the many things I have contemplated over the years. I suppose we'll all just have to wait for the answers to find us.

It is obvious people have had some help along the way with certain things at different times and places. Although, if David Blaine can levitate - could a hundred people levitate a stone and "fly" it over distances? Passing it one to the other - the people themselves would not have to travel the whole distance.
I have been levitated by a group.
My Dad has seen a "UFO"
Bob saw a UFO directly over his home in SW Portland and less than one month later a very large and previously healthy fir tree was dead and had to be removed.
Jamie's Mother appeared at the foot of her bed one night after she passed away.
I had a Spiritual Experience 10 years ago and have not had a drink since.
Some will argue Creationism and others Evolution. They are both Right.
I believe that there is a God, personal to us here on Earth. I also believe that there are other Gods who are personal to other realms or areas of time , space, energy, and things we know nothing of.
Something cannot come from nothing nor can it ever become nothing. We have always been and we always will be. There was something before us and there will be after. This has happened everywhere forever and will always happen forever, and evermore.
It is impossible for there not to be other life in other places. The search for planets with air and water is a waste of time and a complete joke. Life does not require those two things.
We look at a star 4 million light years away. The light we see is 4 million years old. That star is not even there anymore. It has been moving for 4 million years since that light left it. We see it where it was 4 million years ago. I am not supposed to realize that and neither are you.
Someone sees the image and says, "There are two Earth-like planets orbiting that star, John. There could be intelligent life there."
Steve replies, "That was 4 million years ago, you idiot!"

Wonder what happened in the meantime over there?
Maybe a life form evolved, got civilized, thought it was smart, looked up and asked, "Suppose there is other life out there, Klag?"
Sok replies, "Of course not, you idiot!"

Yes. Also believe in an after-life and angels, too. As a society of so-called "intelligent" beings, how could be be so arrogant as to think "we" are all there is?

Most definetly I believe, to not believe is narrow minded and ignorant.
