Ha! Good 'n' nerdy!
You mean we have to name our pups?
Hmmmmm... I might go with something really deep and meaningfull. Hmmmm.... I know! We'll call it "The Camper". Yeah that'll work!
Actually we haven't even thought about naming our pup. I'm thinking Elmo might work because my brother had brought an old Elmo doll over to our house when we bought our pup and told me to stick it on the camper someplace to be our mascot in all our travels. I think it was my niece's toy when she was little. The brave little guy has successfully rode over 650 miles ridding on the trailer tongue next to the propane tank. And he's not even holding on! LOL
I'll bounce it by the DW tonight and see what she says about Pop Me Up Elmo.
Since you've added butterflies, you can name her Pearly after this pretty and tough little girl:
Also called Old Pearly, this is one of the most common types of meadow butterflies. Found throughout most of the United States and into Canada, this butterfly is very territorial and will attack anything it judges as a threat to its territory. The orange wings have black patches and zigzags. The average wingspan is 1¼.
We just got a sign for ours:
Nice sign. Where did you get it?
Years ago my older two kids got me an embroidered shirt that had an picture of an Ark(the big boat Noah used) with a bunch of animals on it with their names under it...above it were the words "Papa's Ark" which I have considered naming the PUP but I plan on eventually replacing the Columbia and don't want the new one to have II behind it. So for now the PUP remains nameless the TV 2 (2000 F150) however does have a name F/V Shoreline II (F/V = fishing vessel)
My 2003 Coleman Niagara is called "The Shelf" since it sits in my garage and used to store stuff on and below it......
Not too original, but does fit.
Hahaha, I just traded a boat that had the same name for a popup with more 'shelf' space!
I use to want to buy a lake house but decided I liked going to differnt lakes best so my new pup's name is "LauraLies Lakehouse" and I am going to have it painted on !! lol Happy Camping
which is a take from my dr's specialized plate "pot 2 p in"
ours is Ratherbe...
...as in "i'd rather-be campin!"
Da Camper..as in yall go make sure we got pillows in da camper. And the vehicle responsible for getting us all their safely is called da Yoda Goat.
I think I decided on my campers name...
The compromise by Fleetwood Tim, on Flickr
So I might hang that in the window... but after 26 years of marriage, I have learned, compromise can have such sweet endings...
Boo. No name yet. I hope the name it earns is not based on leaks, failures and/or disaster. Will return to this thread ASAP once my wife and I have anointed the pup moniker.
Not original, but ours is the "I Pop Up". Still surprised the DMV let me put it on the plate.
Ours is called the 'outhouse' . 'cause it's the house outside.
I know... stupid,
Ours' is "The Flyin' Dutchmen"! Arrrg! The kids are big fans of "Pirates of the Caribbean" films.
Perry, short for "Peregrination" [a course of travel, a journey]. Our truck: "Big Blue."
our camper is named the Omega- The last- We have had 7. Hopefully we like this one enough to keep it. It great for just the 2 of us and we can go at a moments notice which is what we like.
