Since our Expedition is called Titanic we thought it fitting to call the Coleman Utah "Iceberg"
We picked up a Fleetwood Avalon and the only thing I could come up with was the Taj Mapup since it is almost ridiculous how large it is with every ammenity you could put on one of these things. It actually make my Ram 1500 look small when I have it hitched for the road.
I feel so bad...... I haven't even thought of naming my PUP. It's a 1995 Jayco 1007: has A/C, a sink, but no bathroom amenities. I have a peach/mauve pattern décor with olive green mattress covers. Would it be a camper sin to name it after a drink? Maybe martini or fuzzy navel. I do luv it, but the interior will be the first update I do. I should give do respect to the 90"s, maybe Sex on the Beach. (delete last msg) (I did mean it)
Yep she went their.
Im thinking of calling ours the picnic Basket, my wife calls me boo boo all the time, so as a joke i call her Yogi, and always ask her to fetch me a picnic basket. We also have our own Jelly stone park right in the town i work in as well Now to convince DW!
Geesh Main, what a story!

Just because our pop ups don't have engines doesn't mean they are any less entitled to a name. They're just as good as the "big guys" and are part of our families. I say if you want to name it, go for it!!
The one I just traded in was "Jonah". I might keep the same name if I can't think of anything else. Right now it's called "fix-me-up"!!
Hope you all have a great day!!!
I try I like to be a bit different!
Our family just named ours this past week-end when we pulled it out of storage....Paddy the Popup
Well, I've never named a camper before, but when I finished the rebuild on my 1950 Ford Staketruck (my pup TV) I named her 'Edith' after my mother, as the truck brought back childhood memories. I've had the TT for 14 years, but Patti wanted a PUP so we bought the Esterel. Since we are getting married the Wednesday after Memorial Day weekend she insisted she name the Esterel 'Dolly Bell' after her mother.
We've been casually looking for a name for the camper, other than "Camper" and "Money Pit".
And ours is a she.
We don't have a name for it other than "the camper" or "the PUP" When we're out camping and go somewhere we also refer to it as home when going back to the site
Ive had mine for years and never named it.
2x I'm thinking of Sojourner. Sojo for short. We have never named a vehicle in this family. We will see if the family likes the name and if it sticks.
My mom did once. She called her (ordered from the factory 197? Delta 88 Royale) "Lady Bluebird." It was a tank. Later it became mine.
Hi All!! LOVE some of these names!! Just bought our first PUP a few weeks ago, and would love to name her! Unfortunately, I'm not too clever when it comes to names, and could use some help. She's a 98' Viking Legend. Been rebuilt. Lots of teal. Has a toilet/shower combo, AC, heat, etc. Our TV (a green Lincoln Navigator) is named "The Green Gobler" because is sucks up gas and my son is loves his superheros. Any thoughts??
What about Thor?? He was based upon Norse ( vikings) mythology
oooohhh, that's clever! Definitely adding that to the list of possibilities! THANKS!!
No Problem We have viking too I even have my Viking hat to wear when im driving it... The wife doesn't totally approve of that but oh well
I have no idea what to name ours either, but definitely want to. It's a 2007 Rockwood highwall.

Call it Leif, who discovered Greenland and most likely North America or call it Olaf for no other reason then it is a Teutonic name and it sounds funny. Betty White's character on the Golden Girls was from St. Olaf Minnesota
Confuse everybody and call it Coleman. Rockwood Texas is in Coleman County.
