Our lab keeps moving between the floor and the lounge seat, it all depends on the air temp and if the furnace is running or not.

Our lab sleeps in the other bunk whether or not my daughter is there. If it gets too warm, she (the dog) usually moves to the floor.

Ours is a toy poodle, he sleeps right between us, just like at home.

Our dog sleeps where ever she wants, which is usually on the bed with us. Sometimes though she will sleep on the floor if she is feeling too lazy to jump up on the bunk or climb up on the other bunk.

Like others...our 50# English Springer Spaniel sleeps anywhere he wants. Usually at the bottom of the bed. If it gets too warm he's on the floor. During our first outing this year we had a BIG wind storm on Saturday night. He hopped up from the bottom of the bed and insisted on crawling between us UNDER the covers. Some protector he was! Not!

Our 75 lb setter/lab mix sleeps with my son on the big bed and I take the smaller bed. (That's the one closest to the thermostat)

We've had no experience camping with our 2 puppies (a German Shorthaired Pointer and a Weimaraner) Zoe, our GSP, is 45# and still growing and Cali, our weim, is 35# and will probably be 10# heavier then Zoe. Our "plan" is for them to sleep on the other bunk. We're planing on taking out that mattress and replace it with a piece of carpet. It will house our clothing totes and the dog bed's. But I have this nagging feeling that at some point during the night they will sneak into bed with us. [LOL]

Our dog Casey (15 # scion) sleeps on the smaller dinette bunk by himself. He also has his own camp chair when we are sitting around the fire.

Jack russell terrier sleeps with us in the bed just as he does at home! Definitely a spoiled little bugger! [:D]

    1) we do not take our beagle

    2) even if we did bring her, she would stay outside at all times.

With all the dirt, sand, bugs and everything else that gets on even the cleanest of animals, there is no way we allow this in our home, so definitely not allowed in our pup... and also part of the reason why we do not take her camping.

He sleeps in his crate on the floor. I would prefer he sleep with us, but dh refuses to let him in bed. I've thought about letting him in bed with me when I go without dh, but I figured that would make it that much harder the next time dh is along.

Our 20-pound black mini schnauzer sleeps in her crate that we put on the floor of the camper. It is the same one she sleeps in at home. During the day we put the crate outside to make more room inside. I have wondered if we could get a canvas/cloth travel crate to put her in (one that could fold up easy) but I'm afraid she would chew it to pieces (she's not quite 1 yet).

We try to camp when it's cool at night so they usually snuggle with us... or do we snuggle with them?!?!?! :)

Leave the kids @ home & give the dogs the 2nd bed, LOL! DH won't let (2) 75 lb Labs up w/us so when the kids are w/us we give them and the dogs the king bed, or the dogs sleep on the dog bed @ the floor of the dining nook w/the table removed.

Excellent weekend camping on the labs first trip. He was a little scared to get down off the bed [LOL] but we all had a great time.

Our little Lucy, a 16# poodle/terrier mix, sleeps with us just like she does at home. She's able to jump up on the front bunk via the couch. She's been camping with us since she was a puppy and absolutely loves it. Our kids are grown, so she is our spoiled baby girl. [DOG]
