    Hey all,

I have a 1983 Coleman and one of the channels for the door is damaged. I need to replace it so the canvas can connect to the door. Any ideas where to buy a new channel?

    thanks,
    aaron

i had the same or similar problem, it was a plastic molding on door frame i could not find any where but got lucky and the owner of a rv store who had a shop made some out of scrap sheet metal. they work better than the plastic ones ever did!
all i did is give him a small piece of original and he made the neww ones. look for a a hvac shop that does ducting in your area and mabe u can talk them into makeing them for you. good luck, i know how fustrating it can be finding coleman parts.

Just so happens, that as I have been researching canvas replacements for the 88 Plantation, I noticed that
Bear Creek Canvas says they have Coleman door channel. Hope this helps.
