Dump station etiquette

@jonkquil I will not empty while wearing my sandals… I always slip into some shoes or close-toed crocs before hitting the dump station. Seeing people splash around in flip flops grosses me out lol

If you seen a few of the Croc, wearers I've seen at dump stations, you would instantly opt for runners or rubber boots.. All the "get close enough, and let er rip" people wear flip-flops, sandles or crocs..

I usally have on the sandles also. Yea, i play hop to the high side a bit. Then I stand on the curb with one foot on the hose. I am paranoid it will somehow dislodge and fly about. Only one time with the cassette did I get really close to &$&@ on my feet. Good thing you can tip it back, and it had the air release to really let it go. Somone knocked the holding rock into the dump pipe. So, not fun but I reacted like neo in the matrix. I have never moved so fast in my life. Now, I look into the dump riser. People look at me funny, but at least I dont get $&@& on my feet or worse.
