Back from a long weekend at my favorite campspot in SC. We usually try to camp with the Volkswagen camper club that comes next weekend. However I think we made out with some awesome weather for early February.

I really like the Beach Camping along the SC area like Edisto and others. Most often you setup just off the beach in a wooded area and able to do a quick walk down to the beach. The beaches really get crowded and there is always night traffic up and down the beaches all night long. Being able to setup just off the walking trails really has it benefits in this respect...

Love that shot with the camper lit up and clouds in the sky. It has that "day for night" feel you see in some old westerns. Did you use a neutral density filter for that?

We stopped there a few years ago. Got there on the later side and the stores were closed. We did not realize the water was brackish until we got there. We had a little fresh water so we made it through the first night.

    Very nice camp ground

My wife and I enjoyed our trip to the state park at Edisto Beach. We walked along the beach near the beach camping area and there were lots of shells. The beach isn’t wide but it's beautiful. If you camp, then you are just behind the sand dunes so you are very close to the ocean. We also enjoyed our picnic lunch on the many picnic tables.
