According to cnet.com it is now possible to send an emergency message via satellite using Apple 14 Pro. The capability will also be available on Android devices.

I am sticking with my Garmin Inreach Mini and the cheap minimal plan from Garmin.

BTW - the Garmin SOS response center is in Texas.

Same here Anthony. Only I am using the Bivy Stick SOS locator. Their response center is Global Rescue. They have many response centers. One is in Delaware, one is in the Philippines, and there are several others scattered around the world.
