Last week we spent 4 days there. Stayed in Little Creek Campground. Beautiful area, hosts were very nice and helpful. Our site (#83) was not the most level, but very close to water spigot, and a short walk to the bathrooms/showers. All sites were beautifully shady, some were a bit muddy though. Campground was fairly quiet, but you could hear some trains passing at times. Bathhouse was clean and showers were free! Cost: $22/night for electric, $28 for full hookups.

TONS of family activities within the park, including
- large aquatic center (wave pool, splash pool with zero-entry, and water slides)
- fishing
- paddle-boat rental
- craft area
- horseback trail rides, with pony rides for the wee ones
- HUGE indoor play area, with an ice rink in the winter
- Driving range and mini-golf course
- Family theater featuring melodramas (Super funny!)
- a large lodge with individual guest rooms, gift shop, and restaurant (breakfast buffet was pretty good on our last morning there)
- Lots of picnic shelters you can reserve
- Cabins to rent
- Several outdoor playgrounds for kids

Right next to the park is the Strategic Air and Space Museum, pretty interesting for history buffs but even my 5 yr old enjoyed it. On weekends they have a bounce-house there, as well as a star show.

Just across I-80 from the park is a drive-thru wildlife safari (elk, deer, eagles, wolves, bears, bison, waterfowl, even a petting area with goats and chickens).

We had a great time up there. We highly recommend it, great place for families!
