Hello all! Family of 4 here with 2 young kids. Always looking for new spots with hookups, close to water, and near Redding CA. We have a 2002 Coleman Bayside Elite. Very happy with it. Tons of storage, and lots of interior room with the slide out. Thanks for having us!!

Wow, from Redding! That's cool. When I was in my pre-teen years, back in the 1950s, I would spend about two weeks every summer staying with my Aunt and Uncle in Redding. They lived on Canal Drive just off South Street. I was Baptized in the Catholic church in Redding. Welcome to the Forum. If you ever get down here on the Mojave Desert I can tell you of a few great places to camp. Much of it is free.

It's a bit of a drive, but Chester has some really nice places to choose from. From full hook-ups to semi-primitive sites. Funny thing, I live in Chester and just picked up our ntu pup in Redding lol.

Take a ride over to Manzanita lake in Lassen. Lots of cool day trips and hikes around all the volcano fields and stuff.
