I love to just be out in the woods with DH and the kids. Enjoying nature, reading, sitting by the fire!
I love to see my kids just enjoying the simple things, no TV or video games.

Well thats real nice that you take great care of those kids & spend some quality time with them. I am sure in years to come they will be able to look back on those days. I had started my camping with the scouts as my parents could not afford to do even camping.
    Happy Camping [:)C]

Knowing there is a big steak in the cooler with my name on it.Ahhhh I'm going to cry, it's at least 2-3 weeks til I can go camping.

My wife thinks I'm nuts, but one thing I love doing is getting to the campground right at check in time so I can watch everyone else pull in. Other than that, hiking and playing with the little boy are my two favorite activities.

we just got ours a week ago but I've already got ideas for our first trip in a few weeks. It doesn't have an awning but I do have a 10x10 gazebo that will make a good shelter for my reclining soccer chair. I love porch sittin' at home and look forward to doing the same at the campsite. I make/sell cornhole boards for a hobby but they are very large and heavy (2ft x 4ft and 'bout 20 lbs each) Now that I see how much storgage/cargo room a Pup doesn't have, I'll have to scale some down to be practical for the camp. Can't wait!

Actually you use a pair of boards spaced 27' apart tossing bags filled with corn targeting a hole in the board. Hence the name "cornhole". Boards can be purchased at sporting good stores such as Dicks under the name Bag"O" or build and customize your own such as I did.... My Dolphins boards...

for lack of better terms, it's a beanbag toss game for grown ups...very popular at the beach, tailgating, etc...I custom make them with any graphic you can think of...NCAA, NFL, NASCAR, Harley Davidson, Military, etc...legend is that it started in the midwestern states...who knows! I'll see if I can post a picture of my fav UT Vols!

In our quest this year to live a happy and healthier life...we hope our new favorite camping activity becomes biking. I just pulled them out of storage this weekend. They will go to the bike shop this week for new tires and a tune-up. Here's hoping we stay in the saddle!

Hmmm... there are too many things to love.
    Hiking, biking, canoeing & flyfishing?
Photography & reading in the hammock?
[SNZ] (camping is the only place DD seems to sleep past 5:45 or so)?
Seeing & hearing nature & seeing new places and things?
Cooking on my grandfather's old Coleman white gas stove?
    Campfires?
Being where the cel doesn't work, even if work really needs it to?
Putting up tarps in the rain?

Most of these can be summed up as 'slowing down,' at least compared to my daily grind, so that's got to be my overall fave: Slowing Down.

i love doing pretty much everything while camping... relaxing with a few cervazas is right at the top of the list, but stargazing away from the city lights is my absolute favorite.

When you wake up to the fresh air to have a cup of coffee outside [:D]
then you fry the eggs and bacon, spend the day relaxing with the family and after we eat the DO dinner (What ever comes to mind) we have cobbler with coffee by the fire to round out the night. [CP] Now that's the way life should always be!

    Geocaching
Chillin' around the fire - stories around the fire
    Napping
Sleeping under the stars - kinda
    Hiking
    Morning walks
    swimming
    Cooking
Sometimes just doin' nothing at all but maybe reading a magazine!
