Just got back from 3 nights camping on the edge of a farmers field of barley. Only water and toilet disposal on site. great weather mid 20c(70)'s in the day but chilly at night (glad we have the diesel heater). A lot of social distancing going on. Lots of hiking trails from the campsite, and the farmer had left margins around the fields for walking.

Above the bar in the local pub, is a display cabinet with taxidermy animals in a cricket match pose. Unfortunately with the virus restrictions the pub was closed.

Looks like a quaint little place to camp. Love the picture overlooking the fields, just beautiful. I camped near a farm once, unfortunately my experience showed the ah, rather more unpleasant side of farming.

Awfully kind of that farmer to leave a border trail. I wonder how many folks made use of it....

It was mainly dog owners that used the trails, but a few folk in the evening after dinner would take a walk as well.
