Just picked up a 1996 Coleman Cheyenne for $400, looking forward to camping in it :) overall in decent condition but definitely shows its age. The roof needs attention, starting to delaminate up front and has had fiberglass work done over cracks. Water tight, though it needs a new gasket. Ill need to rebuild and reseal the cargo box up front and replace at least 2 of the jacks. But overall theres potential.

Fully optioned with heat, external power outlets, fridge, awning, etc. Previous owner replaced the floor ~3 years ago with marine grade ply.

Plans are to build a fully self contained trailer, update the slides with memory foam, install a larger water tank (with heat) and electric pump. 2 way furnace (elec/lp).

If anyone can point me in the direction for reasonable price parts and any info on repairing the roof, its very appreciated!

Welcome to the portal from N/W Fl Panhandle. Congrats on the Coleman PUP. One thing to think about is you will know everything about the unit by the time you get it re-built and you can make the mods to "make it your own" as you go. someone on here will probably have a good answers for you. Good Luck and Happy Camping

Thanks everyone :) Figured on mods as I go, although most of what i want to do is merely convenient and comfort and not 100% required. Started making a list, I'll post pics and a plan of action once I get it home next weekend.

First nights camp will be Carlisle Import and Performance weekend in about 4 weeks. From there i have about another 6 weeks to do some work before the following trip to Lake Seneca. July will see a weekend at Moosehead Lake in Maine, and August will be a week at Wompatuck in Massachusetts.
