We made our first trip this weekend, to try out our NTU Pup. It was a 309 mile trip to Snow Canyon State Park in southern Utah. The trip went well and the Lil' Pup as we affectionately call it, towed very well.We had to set up after dark and it still only took about 30 min. to finish it. The best part of the trip, besides the beautiful weather was finding that everything worked. The a/c the furnace the fridge and the stove all worked, what a relief. as soon as it starts staying above freezing at night we will try the water tank and heater. It was a beautiful Park and we had a great time. Our TV got 17.38 mpg round trip, which we were more than happy with. Sorry for the long winded post but we just wanted to share a good experience. Thanks Gary & Carol
I'm glad your trip went well. I am curious! you didn't try or need your heater during your trip? The thought of it this time of year, makes me cold.
That's wonderful that your PUP didn't have any 'unexpected' problems. It's getting into the 50's this week in Michigan, but it's a fluke. Will have to wait a little longer to take our first trip.
It went way better than we hoped and we found only a few things that need addressed, that are easy fixes. Can't wait to do it again.
Good to hear you had a great trip. 17 + mpg towing is awesome! Spring time is the time to get outdoors.
Sounds like a great time! We currently have our NTU pup setup in the driveway, but won't be able to take it out for a couple more weeks. I'm really getting the itch.
