Ive been to St Joe dozens of times over thee years, its no secret anymore. You ghave to book months in advance. Its very beautiful, secluded. As for racoons, they dont bother you but do not, I repeat DO NOT leave a watermelon outside overnight. These rascals will bore a hole in them and scoop every last bit of the heart out. My camping nieghbor left 3 out last time I went, and the next morn he had hollow melons. They are very good at it too.
