I was camping in Wyo. this past week and we had 40-50 MPH winds which bent the curved portion of my bed extension pole right as it comes out of the support slot connected to the roof area. Any recommendations on where to find a replacement part and how to re-enforce the pole to prevent reoccurrence? I have my own ideas for re-enforcement but want some input from the group.

Some have made there own using conduit. However you have to have the bending tools. I'm not sure you'd save any money. The shepherds hooks are more or less universal, so you could shop around.

Did you have any luck in finding a replacement or other options? I had the same thing happen to me and the Pop Up Parts site has been sold out for weeks now

Probably best to reach out to an electrical contractor and ask them to bend it for you unless Home Depot or Lowe’s will let you bend it using a tool there. Kinda like they cut wood for you. Otherwise you’d be looking at something like this:
