Florida 2016 Spring Rally??

Ben a while since I've been on the Portal. Just checking to see if there was a Rally this spring but looks like its hard for everybody to commit to a date. I know the feeling, probably been 6 months or so since we've camped but we're heading to Lake Kissimmee next week. Hopefully there will be a Fall Rally that we can make

Mom and I were just talking about trying to go camping again. Time just doesn't seem to be on our side lately. so I agree, a Fall rally to think of?

Ya, I agree. Spring rally just wasn't in the picture. Sigh- I TRIED, but things just didn't work out for me to run one. We can start thinking of a fall rally.

I want to throw this out there since we may have time to do it. What about a Fall Rally in Oct at Fort DeSoto in Pinellas? If we can figure out a weekend real quick, then as soon as it is open for reservations we can all put them in? I know there are a lot of people who love Fort Desoto. Thoughts everyone?

I think Fort DeSoto in th Fall is a great idea! Count us in.

I am thinking Oct 15th & 16th at Fort Desoto in Pinellas for a fall rally. Which means in April the sites can start to be booked.

Either October 15-16 or the next weekend, October 22-23, works for us.

If that isn't good, Veterans Day is on a Friday this year.
Should we post a poll? (I don't know how to do that...)

I like the 15th & 16th. I was thinking the 22-23 might be to close to Halloween for some who may plan to camp that weekend. But the people can decide. I think I will start another thread for Fall Rally and do a poll there.
