    Been there done that. Started rebuilding motors as dad's right hand when I was ten. Been doing it ever since, only stopped a few years ago when I turned 70.

    I'm seeing internet claimed weights of 365 to 385 lbs. for the 144 / 170 cu. in. Ford straight six of that era, maybe save 50 lb. with the Aussie aluminum head. I don't see the body position in sufficient offset to indicate that the weight being held is anywhere near that weight.
    Humorous picture? Definitely. Factual? Nah.
