We scored a riverfront site on the Clarion River at Clear Creek SP. Can't imagine the rangers letting anyone get too roudy there. No cell phone service or television stations. Should be a great trip and can't wait.
come up the wekend before.... we will be ralling at cooks forest ridge campground, then you can drive 5 minutes down the road and leave your pup at clear creek for the fourth

We want to go to Williamsburg, but too many taxes to pay this year. It may not happen. We never went camping before on the 4th, but in 2007 our son lost his battle with cancer on the 4th of July. Now we have to go somewhere, so we are not at home where he died on that day. We may go camping in the local county park. We'll see. It is never full there on the 4th.

I was able to book a site at Fort Desoto for the weekend, so we will be at the beach. I am not to worried about this cg being packed because, well, it is almost ALWAYS completely booked. The beach might be packed, but then again, it is a huge beach!

For our Canada Day (July 1st) weekend, we are heading to my Aunt's about 1.5hr away (small town of Tamworth, ON) to camp there for 4 days and stay for their Canada Day celebrations.
They have 100+ acres of farmland so we are boondocking it and coming and going while touring the area.
Kids are really excited!

The forth of July will be my first camping trip in my new 1997 popup camper that I bought for $500. The inside of the camper is almost perfect and we are moving up from tent camping, we are going to be" Living Like Larry". We will be staying at Green Meadow camp ground right next door to Storyland in NH. Fireworks on July 4 in Jackson NH near Mt Washington. I have never driven with a trailer, I will be relieved when we get there and get set up.

just take your time, keep your speed at a reasonable rate so you dont get to squirrly on the road, and just smile at all the people behind you (the ones in a big A## hurry to go nowhere) when they finally pass you! have fun!
