We are still getting out a bit, we got our favorite spot out here again!!

First night is usually pizza in the oven!! Sausage strips (like bacon but sausage, $0.57 a pack, decent for the price, I wouldn't pay the $4.99/12oz original price). And fried spam for breakfast!!

I brought the wood pellet firepit as I got some bags of pellets on clearance, not so desirable. However the firepit works great for small wood (like 2x3s or 2x4s split into 6-8 pieces).

Gotta fly Old Glory and keep her bright all night long!!!

That is an all metal, even the wheels are welded, stagecoach. Patrick decided to act as a horse on his own... haha

First night it got down to 39F, 2nd night only 51F, I hope it drops back down the rest of the nights!!

Very nice. I'm planning a boondocking trip, how much water do you bring?

If there is Spam involved you know it’s a quality operation. I’ve never seen or even heard of a wood pellet fire pit. How does it work? Does it have a feeder like a pellet stove?

That’s quite a camp for sure. Thanks for sharing.

Out-freakin-standing dude! Getting away from the Covidites & into fresh air is good to go...actually heading out to stock up on some Spam/Treet cans this morning as well as a case of Ramen, 2 food groups that have a wide range of uses, pick up some soakable dry goods as well...

It was a bit busy for the weekend, but now just a few people out here.

I keep a case of water bottles in the camper, and always bring a case...

Right now, day 5 we have gone through about a case of water. We use paper plates, and wet wipes to cut down on water.

That doesn't account for the showers at the county park with the hot springs pool.

After dark you can only see as far as your lights reach, no moon at night right now, so 98% dark at night. Just a slight glow in the western sky towards San Diego.

They were at Grocery Outlet, a discount grocery store. I wouldn't buy them other than the price.

No feeder, just supposed to fill to a line and use a fire starter. Need to add pellets often, I bought a dollar store ladle and bent it to be a spoon to add pellets.

I like it for small wood, as it is mostly smokeless. That ring of holes at the top are to burn the smoke off. I see a few design improvements that could happen to make it better.

With pellets, you need to clean it out every 1.5 hours or so as it builds of with burn pellets that don't break down and fall through the holes in the bottom.

    I have the 13in portable

Purchased a "Volcano" from Colorado. We use it as Firepit, charcoal BBQ and it has a propane burner also. Extremely versatile. Do a search for Volcano.
