We just spent the weekend at Laura S. Walker State Park, in Southeast Georgia. It is a nice clean park that borders the Okefenokee. There is a lake that seems to have been drained about 5 or 6 feet for maintenance. The park also has a golf course to use. There were some hiking trails that the dogs enjoyed exploring. Facilities were clean and hot showers were available. The campground was not that big but there was plenty of room between spot to spread out and relax. The hosts were great and very helpful. Here is our humble setup for the weekend.

I had thought about going to this park. Can you ride bikes on the trails in the park?

I saw kids riding bikes around everywhere. There were tire tracks on the trails. I would recommend checking out their website or calling ahead to make sure.
