Converting liters into USA gallon, we've been paying $5 a gallon for years (that's at $1.30/L). Yesterday I paid the equivalent of $3.40 a US gal (.90 cents/L). About a month ago, the L was at .58 cents at the pump, thats $2.20/US gal. That's something that hasn't happened around here since the 1980's.

About 10 years ago or so, we had a summer in southern Ontario here that we paid $1.40/L, thats almost $5.30 a US gal

That is still low though, lower than all of 2019. In 2019 and 2018, the average gas price in the US was $2.60.

I hear ya. Same here for us in Canada. We've paid $5 a gallon for years, no end in sight.

Got gas on Monday in Mattawa for 79.9.. almost 10 cents cheaper then here in the Bay, excluding the reservation.. still gave close to 100 litres of the 60 cent gas in the garage...
