We bought a 2002 Coleman Utah a few weeks ago. Although she was ready to camp, we wanted to make some changes to make it ours. I posted some before and afters. She is almost done! Has anyone else redone a Utah, have any suggestions?

I'm redoing a Utah as well. Primed half of the cabinets today. Also found come white Corian remnants on Craigslist which I am using to replace all of the countertop material in the camper. I'll post some pics soon.

Looks exactly like our *new to us* 2003 Santa Fe - I would love to see more pics when you get it finished! So far, we haven't attempted any remodeling but I would love to. Bought ours in March and only got to go out in it once before the lockdown :(

As soon as I get some more work done I’ll post! We are hoping to get to go camping this year. I hope the campgrounds open soon!

So far the only thing I’ve done for my Utah is to replace the curtains and valance. Mom and I were planning a sowing project so I could recover the cushions but I couldn’t take off of work and forgot to take the cushions out before I put the camper in winter storage. I considered painting the ugly orange wood to white but my dad made a very good point, Orange is more likely to hide the dirt better than white and my two dogs bring in half the forest. He’s right so I changed my mind and keeping the color. Dang it. Flooring is planned to be a dark vinyl plank style but that got put on hold as well. By the way how much sq footage did you plan for? It will help give me an idea how many boxes I need. Something tells me it’s going to be a big pain to do the flooring in the camper vrs my home. Any tips? Cushions I planned to make a slip cover out of a heavy duty shower curtain ( I hope) wanted something easy to clean yet something that can handle getting a bit wet. I wish I could afford vinyl. Sadly my camper is going to be more on the practical side vrs pleasing to the eye. 596612FA-1731-4DD0-8559-347B92C2086E.jpeg

I bought painters drop cloth from Hime Depot and used the plywood backing to staple it. Cost me about $27. The flooring was given to me but I think it took about 2 and a half boxes. I’m not sure on the square footage. We used peel and stick vinyl. Took about an hour.

This looks so nice and cozy! I think I want to try the dropcloth "reupholstering" as well. It looks like a good no-sew option.

Easy and cheap is my language! :) Do you remember what size drop cloths you used and how many you needed? I found some good ones at Home Depot I may try but I have no clue what size to get so that I don't have too much waste. Alternatively, if I get ones big enough maybe I can get a few cushions out of them? I truly have no clue! :)
