Gettin' Wild In PA - June 25 - 27, 2010

Welcome aboard cheifbowes! (Possibly Maybe ) Hope you can make it! We could do something special for the little one's birthday if she isn't too shy for that sorta thing! My two kids will be 9 and 7 at the time of this rally, so she will have playmates.

I am hoping the new dates suite Erietech, civilwardude2002, and redfragglerocker can still make it!

 

Looks like we will have to op--out of this rally with the new revised dates. We are booked for a Bluegrass Festival that weekend.

Picked up site 39 for June 24, 25 & 26 (Sorry... gotta work Monday's).

This thread started here on Planning A Rally, and hasn't been moved over to the 2010 PUP Rallies yet.

 

I stand corrected again! Story of my life. I think it would get more attention if it was moved . Hello Moderator!!!!

 

I think we need a few more confirmed reservations before they will move us over to the "official" rally area.

Right now there are only two with Dave's and mine. The magic number for this to be a rally and not just "camping with friends" is 6 I think.

If you, civilwardude, redfragglerocker, and erietech all decide to attend and make reservations we will have enough. My fingers are crossed!

 

Hey everyone. Sorry it took so long for me to join this thread, been very busy lately. I think this park looks great! I will put myself down as a definite maybe for now (have to check with the wife!).

We attend a lot of car shows over the summer and there may be a scheduling conflict with one of the shows.

Does anyone have any info on the lake? How deep? Gas or electric motor only? I would love to bring my boat if we attend.

The 20 acre lake is electric motor only. No exact depth is listed. How big of a boat do you have?

 

16ft bass boat. I will do some research and see if its worth the hassle of taking it there or not?

 

I live on probably .1 acres.... I think my truck is bigger than 8 times my yard!!!

 

Beginning to think that I am not suppose to attend a rally. Everytime I think attendance at one is possible - something comes up. This rally is no different. My daughter just announced her engagement and guess what the tentative wedding date is? That's right - June 26, 2010 - meaning that I will be busy for both weekends. Wonder if she would consider getting married at a campground?

I will get to a rally at some point!!!!!

 

I like the idea, it's the closest rally for me I will be looking into more details as the date comes closer. But, not sure if it is going to happen, my tv, 40 year old pup, and wallet might not like the 2.5 hour ride and might stop me, I've never traveled with it much yet but i like the idea and will try to attend.
