new & first timer. 51 single female, who camps with sister, 9 yr old neice, and hopefully my 4 yr grand daughter, Always tent camp, now soon to retire and thinking Hybrid.
I have a 1995 Toyota T 100 6 cly ext cab truck. Going to look at 1999 17' Apache Hybrid. It is twin axle. I would tow it about 4 hours back home.
Will I need to get a anti sway hook up with it being a twin axle. What about electric brakes or special shocks..? I am so confused.
I like the set up of the hybrid and it has a awning. Any special things I should look for, or questions I should ask?
Thanks in advance for any advise..... Penny

You may need a weight distributing hitch. It will probably have electric brakes which means you will need a brake controller. Is it a private sale or at a dealer? If at a dealer they would be able to help you with hitches and controllers. Need to look for any signs of water leakage, what condition the tires are in, have the wheel bearings been check and repacked recently. Do all of the appliances work.
