I am planning a trip in July to Kentucky Kingdom/Hurricane Bay with a 12 year old boy and 15 year old girl. I am letting them invite a friend so I would love to get a safe site close to KK on Phillips Lane in Louisville to make it easy to go back and forth.

Any deals on a two day pass for KK?

Any other cool things to do in the area?

Any and all suggestions are appreciated!!

There are a ton of things to do in Louisville (I'm a resident). Unfortunately there aren't very many campgrounds very close to town. There is a KOA in Shepherdsville (15 minutes away, south of town), There is Elizabethtown Crossings, about 30 minutes south.

There may be a few just over the river in Southern Indiana.
