Heading out tomorrow to state park about 20 Miles
    away.
Have our trusty somewhat secluded spot reserved.
I am sure it will be packed and noisy like last time.
Hopefully we get the first day and a half peaceful before
all the weekend warriors show up Friday evening.
I am done reserving spots till mid to late fall until hopefully
    things slow down a bit.
If they don't i am gonna hit a few dry camping spots i found once the weather
    cools down.

Wishing you a great adventure and hoping things at the CG are quiet and peaceful this time. You are correct in the wait till it cools down, I have decided to do the same as it is no fun to be cooped up with the AC running and 104 heat index outside, even Pebbles is in no hurry to go camping :))

Have a good time. We have three trips planned between now and Labor Day weekend. Last year, we camped into November.

I like to camp up until the snow flies....In my parts State parks close down facilities and its
pack in and out only as well as first come first serve in late October.
It's nice because sometimes you have the whole place pretty much to yourself.
It will be interesting to see what happens this yr.

We are heading out Friday morning to our favorite state park Only 30 miles away and we have our favorite site booked. This place is small and we are right on the river. I am hoping it cools down a little for the weekend.

We changed plans and headed to a different campground about 20 mi further.
What a difference from overpacked dirty noisey campground we originally went to.
My brother went a day earlier and it was packed already so he went and checked this place out and 2 spots were left so we took em..
Maybe 30 campers total...clean restrooms and showers along with a nice lake and creek.
What a difference 20 miles and 150 less campers makes.
65-70 degrees as i type this.
    No rain in forecast.
