We stayed here for one night in August 2018, as part of our 101 tour around the Olympic Peninsula. Like the other FCFS campgrounds in Olympic National Park, it consists of mainly short tent sites, so getting a larger site to accommodate a trailer might be difficult on weekends and holidays in high season. The rate is $20 per night, $10 per night with the Interagency Senior Pass.

We chose site 57, which was a "pull off the side of the road" type. We thought set-up would be easier, since it was on pavement, but it was not level at all. Though the site was perfect for us for just the night.

The bathrooms were a bit of a walk from our site. They look like they have been freshly re-modeled, with flush toilets and running water. The fresh water spigots are outside the bathhouse.

The CG is located about 12 miles down the road from Hurricane Ridge. We were lucky enough that the wildfire smoke dissipated enough for us to enjoy the spectacular views up there.

The CG is located up the road (about 5 miles) from Port Angeles.
