    Hello Folks
My furnace will not kick on while dry camping. I am assuming that it requires a spark to fire it up and it should be able to get this from my battery? I have a 2001 Coleman Sedona. I bought it used. My truck is 2010 F150. Battery was fully charged prior to leaving on camping trip. thanks for any help you can give.
    Cheers
    Ron

My furnace runs on battery. Sounds like a sparking issue. Did you check the gas (lines and tank)?

Sometimes my furnace needs a little TLC the first time I use it. I light the stove first to make sure the gas is working.

Yessir, the cook top worked just fine so propane wasn't an issue. Furnace worked when I got back home and plugged back into shore power.
    Thanks for the reply

yup fuses ok, I looked a little deeper. I may have reversed the polarity when I hooked up the battery.

This happens to many people. I put Red Duct tape on the positive cable Black electrical tape on the negative.

And if you do connect the battery leads wrong you will blow the the battery fuse in the convertor. Double check those fuses again.

will do, assume that fuse is located in the same 'panel' as the rest of the fuses?
