2010 Flagstaff with heated mattress. Last year the heated mattresses worked fine. I took them out of the camper when I winterized it to keep them out of the elements. Now neither mattress works. Is there some kind of fuse or safety reset I’m not aware of?

If neither one works I would first check the power source.

First thing I would check was to make sure the outlets are working.

The controllers light up,so they are getting power. Just weird that both of them aren’t working.

I know that my plugs are VERY tight and take some effort to plug the controller into the mattress. When I used mine a few weeks ago, I really had to work to get them to make a good connection. Are you sure you have a good connection to the mattress plugs??

Yes it’s definitely a tight connection. I couldn’t possibly push them in any tighter.

    How did you store them?
Did they get rolled or folded?

We just leave ours in place.

They didn’t get rolled up but folded slightly to get thru the door. We’re camping now. I have 1 plugged in for quit awhile. It seems like it’s only hot near the plug. We’ll see how it feels when it cools down tonight. Can something happen if they get folded? I don’t think I needed to fold it that much to get thru the door.

Sounds like the heating coils inside the mattress are broken.
If it's hot near the plug, but nowhere else, it's not getting power through all of the heat grid.

I wouldn't keep trying to use it, and I'd unplug it.
There is a chance it could cause a fire.

Thanks, I unplugged them. Unfortunately I think your right about the grids. Dumb of me to remove them for the winter. Oh well nothing I can do about it now.

I don't have heated mattresses, but I did pick up a heated mattress pad 2 years ago. I just throw that on under the regular mattress cover, works fine. I got mine on clearance after winter, so keep an eye out.
