Hello there! I am so happy we found this website!! I grew up camping in a pup, but now that I am 33 i finally have my own!! It took a while to convince my wife we needed one. She liked to go stay in my parents when we were younger, but also preferred tent camping if it was just us. Fast forward to now, my allergies have got to a point where I need A/C to not sneeze 10-15 times in a row every 5 minutes. She endured this tent camping for the last 13 years, but finally this year she said find one. I knew whatever pup I bought I would want to redo, modernize, and make my own so I did not want a brand new one, but I did want one that is ready to go. I've looked for the last few months or so and finally landed on a 1996 Coleman Bayport. It is in EXCELLENT condition and doesn't seem to have been used too much...if it was they took exceptional care. My plans are to put in new linoleum or floating laminate, either oil paint the cabinets white or java, new seat covers and curtains, and do the rustoleum counter top transformation on the counter tops and table. We bought new memory foam toppers for the mattresses and have loaded the camper with our other camping stuff. We are using it tomorrow through the weekend for fathers day. My son who will be 5 in August is extremely excited as are we. Anyway, enough blabbing...here is some eye candy for everyone. I know I am a big fan of pictures!
Sounds like some of you are near me!! I am on the NW side of Columbus near the Sawmill Rd area. We will be at Alum Creek this weekend with the pup and the boat. It is my other baby. It is a 1986 Formula boat, hence my name. Fully custom and rebuilt. Anyone going to be at Alum this weekend?

Welcome from the Toledo area! Nice looking camper, keep us posted on the modifications! Are you sure you have enough truck to pull that pop up? Sorry been looking through towing forum, don't think the weight police will be bugging you!
HAHA...yeah, compared to my normal loads, it really doesn't feel like it is there at all. I own a landscaping company and usually pull MUCH heavier loads. Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!!
