Hello everyone, I'm in Alabama and can't wait to start taking my pop-up out. I got my hands on a 1978 Starcraft pop-up camper, it needs new bed rails and it'll be in great condition. I've looked around and finding parts is awful. does anyone know if the rails that slides the bed in and out are universal, or are they specific to each model? They seem rather simple to replace I just need an after market set or see if a pair from 1975 will work with them.
Welcome from Dukes Fl. Just moved from Holmes Co. Fl, 1/2 mile from Al line If within travel distance do not miss Oak Mountain State Park, just outside Birmingham. Great park to visit, oldest and largest in Al. line, (near Dothan.) Al has some great parks and other places to camp. Good luck and happy Camping
Going to be moving to SC, started a renovation of a 1986 Starcraft SLE 17, Finding it hard to find them ? Are there any old pop ups down south
Congratulations on the NTU Pup and Welcome to the forum from Midway USA. I don't know if bed rails are model specific or universal. I wouldn't think there would many options. Check with my old buddy Google for RV Salvage Yard. I know of one outside Denver and another in southern Missouri. I'm sure there are some closer to you. You might find some help.
I am currently typing this from inside your PUP's twin. I am located just outside of Columbia, SC. Everything is still fairly original and I am planning on a few updates/upgrades in the near future.
