Hi everyone , I own a HW27SC with slide out dining and I tow it with a RAM 1500. I have been popup camping for the last 10 years and love it. That said I'm having issues with the door/roof. The awning pretty much tore off in a storm ( yes I know I should have put it down but didn't get there in time) anyhoo ever since then I can get the door in properly it scrapes the black rubber strip and won't close without damage. Can I fix this? Or do I need to pay 1000 of dollars to fix it. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

    Hello and welcome from Minnesota!

I'm not sure what you are asking here. More info is needed. The door scrapes what black rubber strip? And won't close without damage to what? The door? The awning?

Pictures may help describe what you are trying to describe.

    Welcome from NM.
More info is definitely needed, including make, model (more complete that you gave us), and year of your popup. (If you add that to your signature line, it's always there for the rest of us to see.) Photos may help too.

You will probably have better luck asking the question in the repair sections, with a good subject line for folks to read. In the garage would be a good place to begin, in the closest subject, such as roof or lift system. You say "if you can get the door in properly", so does that mean you have clearance issues with the roof now? or ???
