We downgraded this summer from a 30 foot travel trailer to a Rockwood 1910 ESP and we couldn't be happier. It stores in the garage, it's a joy to tow and fuel economy is much better. We just finished a month in Kansas, Colorado and New Mexico and had a ball. I love having a popup and will probably never go back to a full trailer again.
First major lesson I learned - with the power lift, don't get in a hurry and try lowering the roof in the rain with the door still in. It won't go down and it will just lean to one side at a giant angle. I almost had a heart attack when I realized what I had done. Luckily the popup Gods were

kind to me as there was no damage.

Welcome from Central Texas. We to have owned trailers, both bumper pull, & 5th wheel, thouraly enjoyed both of them. We gave them up, returning to a popup, and enjoy ours eminsly. We have done a lot of upgrades, for convenience sake. Enjoy the camp. See you on the trail.
