We need lots of advice. We just found dampness under roof.
I am not really sure I understand your concern. Perhaps a brief narrative of your discovery is in order. Welcome to the Portal.
Thanks for the welcome,
We discovered dampness under roof yesterday when we put it up. It crumbled like mulch when we were trying to get roof down. Do we need new roof? Or just seal it? Last week we camped one night. It rained, but no leaks inside, waited to put away when it was dry.
Also, we have trouble getting roof down within an inch. Many tries before we are able to latch it. My husband is getting frustrated. Small investment of $200 on the rise.
Thanks in advance. Wife husband
Something is leaking..../the roof and if did crumble like mulch, its rotten. A roof rebuild is in order
Thanks, we will look at some posts to see how to go about it.
Welcome from Oklahoma. Good luck on the repairs.
Welcome to the Portal from South Carolina.
Thanks, we are heading to the beach this weekend. This will be on second outing with our pop up. I just hope we don’t have any issues until we have time to fix problems.
Thanks, lots of great information on this group!
Welcome and greetings from North Carolina to the portal. Hopefully you’ll find a fix in a previous post.
Thanks, cute welcome!
Sounds like a roof rebuild for sure is needed. What part of western pa. Are you in. I am in Pittsburgh
We live in Dawson. We went on our second camping trip to Delaware State Park. My husband decided to not take the highways so it took 10 hours. Long trip! Nice beach, very crowded campsite. ( We had a strap around roof, just in case rot is extensive, we have to check to see how bad it is)
Just wondering if you ever decided to tear into that roof issue ?
We are probably going to use it one more time. I haven’t got my husband on board about the roof redo. We might have to sell it. We will have to see. Thanks for asking.
