    Hi everyone!

I'm Danielle and I live in McKean county Pennsylvania, nestled between Allegheny National Forest and Allegany State Park (NY). We've tent camped pretty regularly for years, and I'm the brand-spanking-new owner of a 1975 Apache Royal (which I'm towing home next weekend). We camped in the Smoky Mountain National Park last year and our neighbors had an Apache Mesa... we'd been looking for one ever since! We got lucky and found one nearby that had all of the mechanical aspects updated. I look forward to posting with everyone!

Sweet! I'll have to see what our schedule is for July... it's usually really busy with mycology events, but definitely interested!

Mycology clubs on the local, regional, and national level have get-togethers called a "foray" that consists of getting together to walk in a specific area/park for fungi, gathering, identifying, and sometimes taking specimens for DNA profiling... most larger groups try to have a yearly foray event that includes the previously mentioned activities as well as programs, speakers, entire laboratories to conduct microscopy in, workshops, et cetera (it's like a large convention). I belong to 4 local clubs (WNY, Rochester, Central PA, and Western PA), 1 regional (Northeast Mycological Federation aka NEMF), and 1 national (North American Mycological Association). July and August are prime time for event forays that last for several days. I hope this explanation was helpful!
