Just got up here, set up, and the only thing that has power is the water pump. No lights, plugs don't work, no toilet. Any ideas?

Plugs don't work on DC power, only overhead lights, pump and heater fan. Check your "kill" switch if overhead lights not working

Nailed it rob2218 I just looked and the fuse is indeed blown. And Ofcourse against my instincts and the multiple warning from the Portal community I did not get a fuse kit. Thanks for the help.

Was unaware boondocking meant you can't have cell phone service.

I am sure daschnoz's cell signal comment was tongue in cheek. Boondocking is considered to be away from civilization, taken to it's extreme WAY out where even the cell phone wouldn't work. Since you can't control where they put a cell tower, if you are unplugged and completely stand alone....you're still boondocking even if you're not out in the "Boondocks". [;)]

Your welcome.....anyone here would have done the same for me.
Hopefully there's a auto parts stiOre somewhere not too far from your boo docking.......I hope? Maybe there's another camper nearby who could spare a fuse or two?

Borrow a spare from the tow vehicle if they are the same style. My F150 has four spares.

As far as boon docking, it is a lot like canoe camping and I carry my Cell Phone and a weather radio, 5 days from assistance it might come in handy just as a 1st. aid kit. I haven't need the phone yet except to call the DW and tell her to pick me up.

Okay I am sorry for calling it boondocking. I was using my pop up at a campsite not on my property.

Around here you can camp in a national park with a 3way hookup and not have cell coverage!

We "dry camp" in the white mountain national forest and don't have cell service there. One of the best features of the campground [:D]
