Hi there~My husband and I purchased our first pop up camper last fall. This is our first summer to use it. My husband was putting it up for the first time and the back cable broke...ugh! It is a 1985 Starcraft and was kept in great shape, in a garage. We are just wondering is it worth getting the cable fixed, it has been VERY difficult to find a person to work on it. The RV center about 45 minutes away said they would look at it, the charge is $120 per hour! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! [:D]

Get under the [PU] and take the old cable off at both ends, Take it with you to the hardware store and purchase the equivalent diameter and length of cable, reinstall. Not a hard job if you are in the least mechanically inclined.
