Hello all. As I begin the roof and body work I’ve come across a couple of mystery items. Found them after removing the canvas.

The first 2 pictures are of a bungee cord that runs the whole driver side and is anchored to the frame. Tha last one is of a wire (maybe a ground?) anchored to frame as well. Are these vital replacements before installing new canvas? TIA. upload_2020-7-17_8-23-32.jpeg upload_2020-7-17_8-24-31.jpeg upload_2020-7-17_8-23-32.jpeg upload_2020-7-17_8-24-31.jpeg upload_2020-7-17_8-25-43.jpeg

Mystery finds are my absolute favorite posts!

The red cable is to show when your roof is raised to the correct height.

Bungee cord was probably threaded through the bunk end canvas, at the bottom. It attaches to little hooks under the bunk to keep the canvas tight on the bottom.

Yup....red cable attaches to top and bottom (bottom already attached in pic) top just I side side panel directly above lower point as a guide so you don't over crank when opening.
The bungee is a mystery to me.

My red cable is GREEN. I WAS JUST GETTING READY TO MAKE A SEPARATE POST to include that one...go outside and look under each bunk and you should see attachment points for the bungees to keep the tent in place.
