Hello all, first time posting here. I just bought a 1983 starcraft constellation 24ft pop up camper with broken cables for $350. The interior is immaculate and it had no leaks. After inspecting the system I believe I only need to replace the 4 cables from the winch to the buckles. My only issue though now is that the previous owner removed the winch and I can't make heads or tails on how to reinstall it. It appears a piece may be missing where it should be mounted but I can't really tell for sure. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. It would be easier honestly to just text me... My number is 330-933-3023. Thanks and God bless.

I can't help you with that type of winch system, but welcome to the forum anyway. I'm sure there is someone here that can help.

I am sorry if this is not how to ask a question but I am in dire need of your help...

I am currently camping in port burwell Ontario and have to leave today by 2pm as it is our last day...BUT one side of my pop up is not going down!!! Its a shelby lift system for an 1988 starcraft astrolite (also, does anyone have any idea why it seems that I have the first and last of this model?)

So I talked to a repair guy over the phone and he said because the right cable is loosening as I put it down, the cable must be off the pulley in the arms somewhere...but I looked and they are all turning fine.

Can someone please help me? Its just me and my kids on our first trip with the.pop.up Thanks in advance!!!!!

( thanks to God for a solar powered cell phone battery that my young son convinced me to buy!!)
