    Hi

I'm trying to reseal the back lower corners of my sisters camper, but there a real mess, see pic's, the last person to work on this thing did a really bad job of repairing it. I can't get the original rails to go back on and seal properly. Would using 1.5" aluminum angle be a viable replacement option?

Making replacement is your best option. I would do at least 3 inches on either side and if you can get to the corners from the inside, put some plates there to bolt into for added strength.

I would put some angle brackets on it to hold the corner together, then cover it with 4" Eternabond tape from top to bottom.
