This past weekend I found another great place to camp; Herring Cove Provincial Park on Campobello Island. The island belongs to Canada, but the only way to get to it by vehicle and trailer is from the State of Maine.
The sites are spacious and most are very private with trees one three sides. Clean washrooms, playground and access to a beautiful sandy beach on the Bay of Fundy. Refreshing would best describe the water temperature.

The island is picturesque with lighthouses, wharfs & fishing boats (Scallops) and a golf course. The most popular attraction is President Franklin Roosevelt's summer home. See www.FDR.net. Also be sure to check out the Family Fisheries Restaurant for great seafood delights and homemade pie.

    Enjoy.
