Major noob here out of Apex, NC
Just bought a 1985 Starcraft 17 SLE. Its in quite good shape and should be the perfect starter PopUp.
Looking fwd to the maiden overnight-er this weekend at Jordan lake. Any suggestions for best camp ground at Jordan would be greatly appreciated.

    Congrats. Hope you enjoy it.

Poplar Point is good, but Crosswinds is our favorite only by a slim margin.

Welcome from Charlotte! We usually don't head that far East, so I'm not much good to ya there.

    Well reality has set in.
Not quite as great a shape as I thought - I missed the soft spots, but still OK for going on 30 yrs old.
Working out the funky 8 pole trailer connector.
Doesn't look like this will be the inaugural weekend [:(]

    Thanks
I got the trailer lights worked out.
I just need to see where the 12v line goes. Apparently, no where. But I want to find the end to make sure its insulated.

You should have a 10 gauge 12V line from your tow vehicle alternator/battery to your camper battery/connector.
