Who makes them out camping over the fire?
    Some sliced polish dogs
    Some hamburger
    Potatoes
    Corn
    Onions
    A little salt and pepper.
    Nothing finer.

I ate those a lot as a kid, but never included dogs. May have to try again!

Many times on the night before we were leaving, I would make a stew out of whatever food was left over.

In the fall soups and stews are the best.

I kind of got hobo'd out when I was in girl scouts. I swear that was all we ate when we camped. They were very easy and it was great that everyone could make their own to match their taste. I've burned a fair few and was forced to eat it. Which sure didn't help the fact I just can't stand them anymore. I haven't made them in a VERY long time now. I probably should try to make them
on my next camping trip. I got all the makings after all. Hotdogs and beans over the fire are usually my go-to meal.

We tend to eat foil packs in streaks. We might make them on a couple trips in a row then not for a while. Shrimp with pea pods and fajita and potatoes are a couple of my favorites.
