Lots of new folks........Had an old thread asking this in 2009. Whats the story behind your username? Mine is simply a nickname my parents gave me as a youngster, and my birthday....nothing to do with beer.
Mine was a nickname given by coworkers actually because I was the opposite. Slow down turtle was a common thing to hear. I was in a job where fast movement from one area to another was critical and few could beat me to the other area.
It is shortened from Kitchen Phantom. My ministry area at church is overseeing the kitchen, which includes restocking paper goods, keeping an eye on the 'fridges, etc. The Phantom part came about because no one knows when I might appear and discard "outdated, anonymous and suspicious" food. I was also given the title Kitchen Czar, which seems a bit overbearing without the background, and "kitphantom" seemed an easier contraction than "kitczar".
I am a big Ford nut. One of Ford's largest engines of the 60's where the FE engine family. So Ray ...... C (racy)...fe (390, 428 ci engines)....Raycfe. which I use for just about everything for years and years.
Mine is pretty boring Pilot - I always loved flying, and was taking some lessons at the time 37 - was my age when I first came up with the name - needed a name when I first signed up for hotmail Pilot37 was taken - so I added the 1 Hence Pilot371
it's our geocaching name. Karen and Jason. We also drive a Jeep Liberty which in the world is a model KJ so it has double meaning for us!
I took my name from my Dusty, rusty, but always trusty '82 El Camino. It was named Dusty (or The Dentmobile) and it never let me down. The car is long gone (I made a big mistake in selling it,) but the name lives on...
I searched for almost 2 years on ebay and then Craigslist for a PUP. I never knew about this or any of the other camping or pop-up sites out there. After we brought our PUP home, I decided to begin a search for "what do we do now?" I found this site right away -first thing- and decided to sign up. (Glad I found it!) So I chose Carolina Campers because it's where we live, and what we wanted to do. Later, I found that Carolina Campers has been used as a name for an organized group of North and South Carolina campers. I've been thinking of changing my name, but I've been this for so long. What to do?
Redjacket is the dining hall I work at. It is named for Chief Redjacket, an Iroquois who sold much of the land which is current day Geneseo to the settlers.
I stole my husband's nickname from High School and my kids were pyromaniacs whenever we went camping....so Burnzee seemed to be a good fit.
Mine started 15 years ago when we used aol as our internet provider it is short for florida keys pam as that is where we are from and where I was living I kept it because I still use the aol mail and I also use it for my yahoo mail
