I just use my name. That way I am careful to never post something I would be ashamed to repeat in person. Besides, I can never remember which user name goes to which site. Even at the advanced age of 60, I have not forgotten my name.
When my son was younger, going through his pirate phase, he gave me the name. I love bacon and have a beard...Bacon Beard! We just bought a 96 Jayco Eagle 10! Supper pumped to be come part of the PUP nation! We have been avid campers for most of our lives and now we have to switch our routine. But so worth the A/C!
Many years ago I went snow skiing with some friends. Half way to the resort I noticed I forgot my hat and gloves, so we stopped at a friend's parent's house and they loaned me a hat and gloves to wear. When we arrived at the resort I had also forgot the hat and gloves they loaned me. So my friend commented that going skiing with me was like trying to bring along a little brother.... and my nickname was born.
Another Yooper Hi from Lake MI! Just purchased 77 Starcraft Galaxy 6. Name is tow vehicle and camper name. 1st time camper owner. Camped in these as a kid.
In the PC gaming world I came across a suggested nickname of redheadedpaper that I ended up choosing. I tweak it a little depending on which forum I’m one. So I decided on redheadedcamper. I do have red hair as well, thanks to my mother
My first Jeep was a TJ, my name is Dave. Not very creative, but it's all I could come up with years ago when joining our Jeep club. It has stuck because everyone calls me TJ.
I’m new, and looking forward to going through older posts and learning what the pop up life is all about. Just bought a 1995 Flagstaff Cobra and we have A LOT to learn and some things to fix before we use it. We farm in Massachusetts.
I love to read and am a huge fan of the Outlander series. In it, Sassenach is Jamie Fraser's ironic nickname for his wife Claire.
I've used mine for decades. I'm a dad whose kids were born in 1990 and 1992 and have been in the IT field since 1989, through out the whole dot-com boom and bust and in the 90's, there was a thing called "leetspeak" and my alias is just that. It stands for "elite dad"... I use it on most every board I belong to...
My other hobby is collecting casino chips. I have been doing it for about 20 years now and have a pretty nice collection but there is always something else out there that I am looking for or lusting after. So ChipEnvy seemed about right.
