Re: how do you um \

On August 30, 2013 the replies to the original topic changed from "Re: how do you um "do it" in the popup with kids" to "Re: how do you um \". Occasionally, in the 19 pages that followed page 51, the replies would have the full title, but not very many.

Of course, this is totally useless information - it's just something I noticed as I wasted winter hours waiting for the snow to melt and it looks like that might be sometime in late June this year. We will probably have to head west to the Utah desert before we can get our PUP up to the forests of Colorado.

It's still a fun topic so keep on posting!

LOL Maybe an attempt to keep newbies from reviving it. Maybe when previous posters commented again, the whole title shows. Just a guess. [:D]

It's a fun thread though, and should never die completely.

I even went back to pg. 51 just to look and didn't pick up on that. I don't read the header information in most posts; I just monitor this thread for 50 Shades of Camping ... [;)]

...which means the first kids generated from the techniques described should be 9 by now :)

P.S. I fixed the subject on my post

Our kid are teens who know what's going on, ahem, when the door (or in this case, curtain) is closed. That said, we totally keep them active all day and then they crash hard at night. A lot of times, when camping with big family groups, we go to bed before the kids do which makes things easier.
A lot of times we camp on the property of relatives, so we get some alone time in the house in the shower. After 22 years married, we have lots of ways for sneaking "it" in. hehehehe
By the way, this is the best thread ever! :)

Well I am a party pooper too. Your basically doing something in the same tiny room as your kids; it is not just "noises" you should be worried about.

I don't have kids and I'm more or less replying so this stays in my "watch" list - so funny even 12 years later! I started reading all 1000+ posts several hours ago and just couldn't stop. I'm almost disappointed to be at the end, the rest of my night is now ruined ;)

I will add, depending on your rig's setup, choose your bunk wisely. On my Coleman with 2 king-size bunks, the front bunk supports angle down and in to the A-frame by the LP tanks and batteries, and is much more sturdy than the bank bunk that angles down to the back bumper and barely "hooks" on. Too much bouncing back there and the bunk will come right off the supports and down you'll roll off the back like some of the stories told earlier...

Also on mine, the interior privacy curtains don't really "close" without aid of clips or something. Instead of using a clip, use velcro to keep them closed... first, for the privacy, and second, so you'll hear the RIIIIIP when the curtain on the opposite bunk end opens giving you a little warning time.
