There are, uhm, other ways to prevent that besides cold turkey.

14 years ago I posted this thread and it is still going. I am shocked. This has been very funny to read. Thank you all for the laughs. The question was posted to see what peoples responses were, not for educational purposes. I have 6 kids.....I know what to do thanks.

The real question is...With 6 kids in a pop up...Where did everyone sleep and how did you send them to their rooms when they were fighting?

We put the older ones in a tent. The 2 babies at the time slept on the opposite bunk. Make them play hard and they sleep great.

We've had eight people and a beagle sleep in our PUP. Four adult size people and four kids.

    That's impressive.

Our Arcadia "sleeps 8" but the max I can imagine is 6 - unless more than 2 people are on each king bunk. The table and the front bench are really "1 kid each"

Our "kitchen tent" is a clam pavilion with a floor. That basically is a tent, so we could have more people in it, if they brought air mattresses and such.

    Well done

I'm 6'4, so sleeping on dropped dinettes is right out

Our son takes the back king (its a treehouse!) Wife and I take the front king. Dinette stays in table form, and the front flip down sofa/bench is a dog bed

Our U dinette reaches all the way across the PUP, it's just as long as the bunks.

Turn on the ac, give the kids melatonin melatonin and close the curtains. If kids wake up tell them your spanking momma for being bad. Works everytime.

Wear them out at the lake or beach. Then turn on loud fan or noise machine.

Camping should be a break from all that hanky panky nonsense.
I don't know about everyone else...But I think a pop up would make it very hard to be discreet.
LOL...You sneeze in a pop up and it shakes.....I wont go into any more detail[:D]

I originally read that as "give the kids a mellotron", which would probably work as well, at least to cover up any sounds.

I had no idea what melatonin was and had to google it lol
